Now for some more house cleaning…
A few people have asked if the Platinum membership will allow them to integrate their “Getresponse” auto-responder.
At launch, the only auto-responder that will work is “Aweber.”
I have a screen cast video that will walk you through how to set it up. It’s as simple as entering a few details in your profile… from there everything else is handled for you.
Soon after the initial launch (depending how smooth everything goes - minor hiccups usually occur when you have lots of people flooding your site ready to buy) I will be researching the integration of Getresponse autoresponders.
Once I figure it out I will create a screen cast video walking you through the integration. If it’s anything like Aweber, it will be super easy.
However, in the meantime I recommend you start with your “Standard” squeeze pages.
And here’s why…
Due to a minor programming issue in the system, the “tracking feature” will ONLY work with your “Standard Squeeze Pages” (the standard squeeze pages are the ones where you have to manually export your leads.)
The squeeze pages that seamlessly integrate with your Aweber autoresponder do not track leads and conversions.
I need to be upfront about this and also tell you how upset I am personally that my programmer and I could not get the tracking to work correctly with the Aweber squeeze pages.
The solution and my recommendation is to use the “Standard” squeeze pages solely as your “Testing” pages then switch over to your Aweber pages.
This is important because…
Once you get a feel for how well the standard squeeze pages capture leads and what advertising sources bring in the best results… you can then switch over to the squeeze pages that are linked to your Aweber autoresponder where you will have more control.
The reason I suggest this (as Ron pointed out in his comment) is because when you export your leads (the ones collected from your standard pages) and them import them into your autoresponder, they’re essentially asked to “confirm” their email address “AGAIN.”
It’s not a big deal but you will see a slight decrease in the amount of prospects that actually confirm that second time.
I hope that makes sense.
Bottom line… spend some time advertising your “Standard” pages first using the on-the-fly “tracking tags” then use your Aweber integrated pages.
Side Note: If you have no idea what “on-the-fly” tracking tags are… click the link in the right side bar that reads: “On Demand: All Videos” - When the videos appear, scroll down the left-side navigation bar and click the 3rd video from the bottom “Tracking Clicks/Conversions”

Hi James,
I’m bummed that I didn’t win, but even more bummed that the tracking won’t work with Aweber pages.
Shouldn’t Aweber be able to track the number of times your squeeze page shows up and the number of opt-ins?
I know that in the Web Forms area it shows the number of Displays, Submissions, Unique Displays and the percentage of conversions.
With your system, when we use the aweber integration, will the Aweber stats be updated?

First, congrats to the winners! James - this has been a thrilling week - and it hasn’t even begun yet. You know, this whole process kind of mirrors my IM experience. I got really hyped when I saw James had used part of my question as a new post the following day. I allowed myself to wonder if maybe this was my turn finally to win something. As I ran through the disappointment of not winning - I realized I had screwed up! My comment was actually posted on the wrong day - so, I actually had no chance of winning. LOL - what an idiot.
At the end of the day - what really matters is what we do tomorrow - not whether won won or lost today.
Thanks again for the ride James - looking forward to tomorrow. I guess I’ll have to “earn” my monthly membership which will be a blessing in disguise.

JAMES, I just finished your second video, Getting Traffic which is FANTASTIC!!!
I hope you don’t mind what I am going to tell you, but there are two things that you can improve in your 2-Click Set Up. Instead of 2-Clicks, you can make it just 1-CLICK!
I’ll tell you how, using your Make Notes of 5 Steps - 600 Visitors 2-Click Set Up:
First of all in Step 4, you should say to enter a VERY SHORT NAME for the purpose of what I am going to teach you. For Ex. TR1 (meaning Traffic 1). If you are going to do another set of 5 links, then use TR2 for the 2nd. one and so on.
So… Step 4 will be: Click “Bookmarks” > “Bookmark all Tabs” > Enter “TR1″ in the Name Field. Under the Name Field, where it says “Create In” Scroll and look for “Bookmarks Toolbar” and click on “Add Bookmarks”.
A folder named TR1 will appear under your Navigation Toolbar (where you have Getting Started and Latest Headlines [which by the way you can delete those to put more visible bookmarks]). So, you only have to click the folder and scroll down and navigate to “Open All Tabs”.
Then that is just 1 CLICK and you will always have your bookmark TR1 visible to use it whenever you want. You do not have to click Bookmarks to find it. You can add several bookmarks in your Bookmarks Toolbar. It could be a folder with several tabs as in this case or just with one specific url. The shorter the names of your bookmarks, the more space you have to add more visible bookmarks in your toolbar.
The other thing you can improve in this system, is that to navigate from tab to tab, you do not need to push CTRL Tab on your keyboard. Just click on the tab you want and that’s it!
