I want to first thank everyone who took the survey about the new feature ideas for IMSP. Your comments have helped tremendously.

There were several comments that really caught my attention as I was reading. I want to share one with you right now that I think is responsible for many newbies not succeeding online. I truly believe that if I help coach you through this, you will SUCCEED!

I struggled with this issue for years online. I wanted to give up.

So how did I finally crack the code?

Simple.

1. I set specific goals

2. I created a specific plan

3. I implement my plan and blocked everything out until my goal was reached

The reason I’m sharing this with you is to point out that making money online takes serious discipline and a plan.

Internet income doesn’t happen overnight and does require a lot of hard work at first. But after you push that huge snowball up the hill… it’s fun and exciting to watch it pick up lifelong passive income as it rolls down the other side with much less effort.

5 Steps To Help You Focus:

Step 1: Grab a pen and paper (I’m not joking, go grab a pen and paper now and come back to step 2)

Step 2: Write down the dollar amount you want to make each month (Be realistic at first. You need to crawl before you can walk)

Step 3: Write down the time frame in which you want to reach this goal (again, be realistic)

Step 4: Figure out how many sales you must generate from your MLM business or IMSP to make that amount

Example: Let’s say you wrote down $1,000 per month in step 2. The affiliate program at Instant MLM Squeeze Pages pays $9.99 monthly recurring income, right? That means you will need to refer a total of 100 people to Instant MLM Squeeze Pages to make $1,000 per month.

If you want to reach this goal in 30 days, you will need to refer roughly 3.33 sales per day for the next 30 days.

Step 5: Once you have your number from step 4, it’s time to advertise your squeeze pages and analyze your results.

This is the step where many new comers freeze because they don’t have a huge advertising budget or don’t know how to get traffic.

And this is where I’m supposed to come to the rescue and say… “Don’t worry, you can simply do this [INSERT FREE METHOD] and still make $1,000 per month!”

Sorry, it generally doesn’t work that way. I’ve already shown you 9 different ways to generate traffic in the Squeeze Page Traffic Secrets videos. How many have you tried?

Many people have only used traffic exchanges to advertise and wonder why they are not making huge sums of money per month.

Here’s a metaphor to help address that concern:

Visualize a bicycle wheel with 10 spokes. Each spoke represents a different advertising method.

Spoke 1: Traffic Exchanges

Spoke 2: List Builders and Safe lists

Spoke 3: Pay Per Click Search

Spoke 4: Co-Registration Services

Spoke 5: Article Marketing

Spoke 6: Social Bookmarking

Spoke 7: Forum Advertising

Spoke 8: Targeted Banner Ads

Spoke 9: Blogging

Spoke 10: Ezine Advertising

The more of these advertising methods you use, the stronger your bicycle wheel becomes. Which means you will hit your income goal faster and easier.

And you can start by mastering one advertising method at a time. As you master each one, move to the next. Just keep things simple and focus on your specific goal.

How was your holiday? I hope it was great!

Trinette and I had a great time watching the kids opening their gifts Christmas morning. However, I’m really glad the holidays are over. The holidays are awesome but also some very stressful times. And both the kids just got over being sick. So it’s back to work!

In this quick post I wanted to get your feedback again about some exciting ideas I have for making Instant MLM Squeeze Pages the best MLM lead prospecting system out there.

I was on the phone with my friend Jason Dinner last night (we always brainstorm about marketing) and I came up with a few ideas that I hope you like.

I have some really cool stuff I want to share with you real quick:

1.)  My recent trip to Washington D.C. and how I got an extra $338 in 2 days from safe-lists!

1.)  First, my recent trip to Washington D.C.

If you haven’t had a chance to get out from behind your PC and meet other marketers face to face, you are missing out on a world of opportunity.

I haven’t been to an offline event in a long time due to the birth of my son, moving into a new house and various other reasons. But the people you will meet and connections you will make are lifelong and will change your life and business.

For instance, I met 2 guys, Mike and Bill, and they told me about how they are using safelists to get about 150 people on their list per day. (if you don’t know what a safelist is, click  the “View All Videos” link to the right and scroll down then watch, “Safe List Advertising”)

So I took their information and applied it IMMEDIATELY… I sent out a few ads on the safelists they recommended and voila!

My results by the end of the weekend:

$338 in additional sales for DownlineSecrets2.com

I met another great guy named Dan.

He was showing me his order page on one of his websites.

I said… “Man, I need to add that to my order page.” I went up to my room, made one tiny change to my order page and the next morning (6 hours later) I had an additional $594 in sales.

It’s amazing what tiny little changes to your marketing can do for your bottom line.

That’s an extra $932 I generated, just by going to a marketing seminar and talking with other marketers. That money basically paid for my entire trip.

I highly recommend you get to a marketing seminar as soon as possible.

2.)  Next, let me tell you about a few programs I added to the downline builder (step #4) in the member’s area of Instant MLM Squeeze Pages.

I added a few more “List Builders” such as List Bandit, Your Lucky List, and List Dot Com.

I highly recommend you uprgrade in as many list builders as possible. This way you’ll be able to mail xxxx amount of members every 2 to 3 days or so. 

For instance, List Dot Com lets you send your email offer to 5,000 random members every 2 days if you’re an upgraded member. The trick is to consistently send your email ads.

Be sure to advertise one of your squeeze pages so you can build your own targeted list of people interested in MLM.

I also added a tracking program so you can NOW track all your clicks and leads.

The “Basic” squeeze pages have a tracking feature built in (i.e. ?t=tracking) but the aweber squeeze pages do not. This was a problem that I brought up during the launch but had no real solution (at that time.)

Fast forward to today and the problem is solved!

As I mentioned above, I met a really cool guy named Dan Moses at the seminar.

Guess what Dan happens to own and operate?

A web based tracking system called “Pro Tracker Plus.” His program is a perfect fit for Instant MLM Squeeze Pages.

You can now set-up “Campaign Groups” and see which squeeze page is converting best on each individual traffic exchange, list builder, safe list, etc.

Here’s how it works…

Let’s say you’re advertising your squeeze pages on Traffic Swarm and you want to track your clicks and opt-ins.

You simply login to Pro Tracker Plus (don’t worry, I’m making a video series to walk you through this) and create a “Campaign Group” called “Traffic Swarm” then you create individual “trackers” for each squeeze page you want to track.

So let’s say you’re a Platinum member at Instant MLM Squeeze Pages and you want to track the following 3 squeeze pages:

1)  …/lazy1ar.html

2)  …/secret1ar.html

3)  …/rich1ar.html

You would create 3 trackers called:

* TS-lazy1 (the “TS” helps you indentify Traffic Swarm)

* TS-secret1

* TS-rich1

You would then get 3 tracker links from Pro Tracker Plus and add these to Traffic Swarm.

Then inside your Pro Tracker Plus account you will be able to click on the group “Traffic Swarm” and see how well each of your 3 pages are performing on Traffic Swarm.

From there… you do this for each traffic exchange, list builder, etc. and you’ll be able to QUICKLY see which squeeze page is converting best from each individual advertising source.

Once you get an idea of which page converts best for each source, then you simply advertise that squeeze page ONLY!

Cool huh?

I hope this makes sense and you’re super excited because this will help you work smarter and get the most from your advertising efforts.

3.)  I hinted to this above…

I will be making you a video tutorial series that walks you through setting up Pro Tracker Plus.

I’m not 100% sure when it will be done as we’re taking the kids to Lake Michigan for vacation this coming Monday.

But it’s on my short list of top priority items to accomplish ASAP.

Now for some more house cleaning…

A few people have asked if the Platinum membership will allow them to integrate their “Getresponse” auto-responder.

At launch, the only auto-responder that will work is “Aweber.”

I have a screen cast video that will walk you through how to set it up. It’s as simple as entering a few details in your profile… from there everything else is handled for you.

Soon after the initial launch (depending how smooth everything goes - minor hiccups usually occur when you have lots of people flooding your site ready to buy) I will be researching the integration of Getresponse autoresponders.

Once I figure it out I will create a screen cast video walking you through the integration. If it’s anything like Aweber, it will be super easy.

However, in the meantime I recommend you start with your “Standard” squeeze pages.

And here’s why…

Due to a minor programming issue in the system, the “tracking feature” will ONLY work with your “Standard Squeeze Pages” (the standard squeeze pages are the ones where you have to manually export your leads.)

The squeeze pages that seamlessly integrate with your Aweber autoresponder do not track leads and conversions.

I need to be upfront about this and also tell you how upset I am personally that my programmer and I could not get the tracking to work correctly with the Aweber squeeze pages.

The solution and my recommendation is to use the “Standard” squeeze pages solely as your “Testing” pages then switch over to your Aweber pages.

This is important because…

Once you get a feel for how well the standard squeeze pages capture leads and what advertising sources bring in the best results… you can then switch over to the squeeze pages that are linked to your Aweber autoresponder where you will have more control.

The reason I suggest this (as Ron pointed out in his comment) is because when you export your leads (the ones collected from your standard pages) and them import them into your autoresponder, they’re essentially asked to “confirm” their email address “AGAIN.”

It’s not a big deal but you will see a slight decrease in the amount of prospects that actually confirm that second time.

I hope that makes sense.

Bottom line… spend some time advertising your “Standard” pages first using the on-the-fly “tracking tags” then use your Aweber integrated pages.

Side Note: If you have no idea what “on-the-fly” tracking tags are… click the link in the right side bar that reads: “On Demand: All Videos” - When the videos appear, scroll down the left-side navigation bar and click the 3rd video from the bottom “Tracking Clicks/Conversions”

Just a quick post about some comments I saw earlier today.

Here’s one comment:

“…I STILL like the concept of the training area teaching newbies how to build their OWN squeeze page…”

The confusion here my be partly due to a somewhat misleading headline I had on the home page up until 1 week ago.

The headline mentioned how you could “create your own squeeze pages in just a few minutes…”

This has since been changed because it is NOT the case. I’m sorry if it caused any confusion.

If you watched the 3rd video (see right side bar under my picture) you will clearly see that what I’m offering you is a ready-made, fill in a few blanks, type of squeeze page system that will help you generate your own targeted MLM leads, promote your MLM business opportunity and earn some money from our instant affiliate program.

I have also seen a few comments saying that the traffic programs will soon be saturated with everyone promoting the same squeeze pages.

My response to that comes in 3 parts:

1. Awesome, I hope they do!

2. Be sure to read every last word of the sales letter on August 5th (heck, maybe I’ll let you see it before then) regarding the “Platinum” membership. It will surely put a smile on your face and help overcome the “saturation” concern.

3. There are 6+ billion people in the world. Millions of them interested in network marketing and who all NEED this product. Go find them! Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT RELY on traffic exchanges to make your business successful.

I’ve said it before, I guess I need to say it again. Traffic exchanges are a great place to start advertising due to the fact they are free, but don’t be fooled into thinking they are the “magic bullet” to reaching your financial dreams. They’re not.

They are simply one “traffic technique” to add to your OTHER marketing efforts (i.e. article writing, pay per click, list builders, social networking, blogging, etc…)

You will need to study (and master) other methods of marketing and advertising in order to be successful.

And most importantly, treat your business like a business; have realistic expectations and plan on going through growing pains.
